EDINBURGH AIRPORT
And what is an airport doing here? (not quite a pub as we know it, Jim!)  Well, thought it might be worth a mention as J.D.Wetherspoon's are now running the bars at the airport, and are selling good beer at sensible prices.  (The bar just before the departure gates is almost compensation for flight delays)

MACANDREWS ALE HOUSE
(Dean Street, Stockbridge) MacAndrews has recently been refurbished and now has a bright and cheerful ambience - this, together with an equally bright and cheerful team of staff has quickly increased this bar's popularity

THE BURKE AND HARE - http://www.burkeandhare.co.uk
The Burke and Hare describes itself as "possibly the best strip-pub in Edinburgh" - so is possibly a place to consider for a stag night!  OK - not exactly "politically correct" - but does it really matter? The folks at the Burke and Hare seem a cheerful bunch, and don't take themselves at all seriously.
The Burke and Hare can be found at the West Port (midway between the Grassmarket and Lothian Road.  (This pub was suggested by "Barry")
